Samsung vs. Apple: The Legal Battle Continues
Samsung fired back at Apple’s patent infringement lawsuit in April, with 10 counter-suit claims of their own. Apple claims the Samsung Galaxy products copied the iPhone and iPad.
Bloomberg reports that Samsung has now quietly dropped all 10 claims under the radar. Samsung claims they chose this path to streamline the ongoing lawsuit and have actually decided to consolidate the counter claims into their original suit.
South Korea Samsung spokeswoman, Nam Ki Yung stated,
“Samsung will continue to actively defend and protect our intellectual property.”
Apple still remains firm in their allegations, making this appear to be just the beginning of a long legal battle ahead.
