Sony Ericsson reveals more on Ice-Cream Sandwich for the Xperia line
While it did commit to dole out Android 4.0 to every Xperia phone it has released, Sony Ericsson did not actually reveal a timeline as to when that will happen. The company now has an announcement to narrow things down for us and it seems that end March/early April 2012 will see the update rolling out once the SE devs are done incorporating Sony Ericsson’s own UI layer on top of ICS. The device list is indeed comprehensive and covers almost all of the Xperia devices. Take a look:

Also included is the non-Xperia device, Live with Walkman smartphone, scheduled to receive the update around the same time. We’ll keep you posted on whether the company keeps it promise and it will need a little more time to smooth things out before the rollout.
