Spotify Reaches Some BlackBerry Handsets, Angry Birds Finally Makes Its Way To The PlayBook
If you are a die hard BlackBerry user and have just been waiting for Research In Motion (RIM) to provide some cheerful news, then this might bring a smile to your face. Spotify, the popular music streaming service, is now available for GSM-based BlackBerry smartphones including the Bold 9780, Bold 9700, Curve 9300, Bold 9000, and Curve 8520. BlackBerry users can scoop up the app for free, but be prepared to cough up a $10/month Spotify Premium subscription to take advantage of the mobile streaming fun.
Owners of RIM’s token tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, can now finally get a taste of the addictive Angry Birds game that has had millions of Android and iOS users hooked for months now. PlayBook users can take advantage of the original Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. All three games will cost you a cool $5 each.
