Sprint Announces Budget Friendly ZTE Fury: March 11th Launch, $20 After Rebate
Sprint announced the latest Android device to join their family by officially unveiling the ZTE Fury. The budget-friendly smartphone is scheduled for a March 11th launch and will only cost consumers $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract.
The Fury will come Android 2.3 Gingerbread ready and will have Sprint ID included for custom theme and app packs. Additional spec highlights include a 3.5-inch display, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and video capture, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4GB of internal storage and compatibility for microSD cards up to 32GB, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi, and 3G hotspot.
Sprint is heavily marketing this particular smartphone as the perfect phone to “fit the needs of families with children”. The Fury includes GPS, which is compatible with Sprint’s services like the Sprint’s Family Locator.
