Sprint Forges Ahead With Its 4G LTE Roll Out, Launches in 5 Additional Markets Today

In an attempt to forge ahead with its 2012 4G LTE roll out plan, Sprint has added five additional markets today. Sprint consumers in Chicago; Lake Wichita, Texas,  New Bedford/River Falls, Massachusetts; and Hutchinson and McPherson, Kansas will all find themselves happier with enhanced data speeds thanks to the new 4G LTE coverage.

“We recently announced that Sprint 4G LTE will be available in more than 100 cities in the coming months,” Bob Azzi, the company’s senior vice president of networking, said. “Today’s news moves us even further toward achieving that goal. We strive to deliver a top-notch network experience combined with winning devices and unlimited nationwide data plans – all of which are designed to support the ways our customers use their mobile devices today and tomorrow.”

The Now Network plans to continue on its 4G LTE path by turning on an additional 115 markets over the next few months to come.
