T-Mobile UK Galaxy S gets Android 2.3 update
At long last, T-Mobile UK has announced the Android 2.3 update for the original Samsung Galaxy S, via its support forums. The unlocked breed of the same popular device has been snacking on Gingerbread for a while now, but no such luck has been bestowed upon the T-Mobile UK version, until now at least. And to add insult to injury, the current version slowly making its way across the UK is supposedly version 2.3.3, which means another long waiting period before TMo UK users can actually get chatty face to face on their Galaxy S smartphones via GTalk – Android 2.3.4 is already available on some variants of the original Galaxy S in other parts of the globe.
Anyhow, the update can be obtained over the air or via Samsung Kies, so plop yourself down if you are near a PC or connect to a WiFi hotspot near you to get the update without hassles.
