Tegra2-powered LG Optimus 2X for Europe in January
Now we know that the LG Star will be christened the Optimus 2X not only in Korea but also in Europe. Coming to its release date, Slashphone did some digging and unearthed info that the lucky month is January 2011, and we can’t be more specific than that until LG opens up. As for its specs, the Optimus 2X sits right there at the top with:
- Dual-core Nvidia Tegra2 processor
- 8-megapixel lens with 1080p HD video recording
- Froyo Android 2.2 operating system (upgradeable to Gingerbread?)
- HDMI port
- 4-inch WVGA multitouch display
- 8GB onboard memory expandable to 32GB via MicroSD
