Telstra Launches Androidland in Melbourne, Australia: Android Heaven Gets A Little More Closer
Androidland, the first store completely dedicated to the Android experience has finally launched in Melbourne, Australia. The venture, backed heavily by Google and Telstra, has been in development since early June and has left many Android enthusiasts waiting impatiently for the doors to open.
Androidland aims to “educate and showcase” the best features that Android has to offer the consumer market. The 154 foot store is packed with all of the latest Android powered smartphones and tablets, and even smells faintly of gingerbread. Knowledgeable staff are poised ready to educate and assist eager consumers interested in immersing themselves into the world of Android.
The Melbourne store is still in its experiemental stage, but depending on its success in Australia we just might start seeing Androidlands cropping up next to Apple Stores in the future. Wouldn’t that be something.
