Telus Roadmap Leaked With Blackberry Bold 9900, Torch 2, Torch 9860, And More Release Dates Revealed
An internal document leaked from Telus reveals a plethora of release dates for some of the most anticipated handsets this year. The document outlines the Blackberry Bold 9900 to be available for purchase starting around August 15th in North America. If you are patiently awaiting the upgraded Blackberry Torch 2 the device is expected to launch around August 15th in Canada. Additionally, the Blackberry Torch 9860, the full touchscreen model, is scheduled to launch on or around August 22nd. The Blackberry Curve Apollo device is scheduled to close up the month of August with a launch slated for the 29th.
The low-cost touchscreen Curve, the Blackberry Orlando, is scheduled for an October 1st launch. Also set to make a cameo on October 1st is the Blackberry Bellagio, a touch and type version based on the Blackberry 9700 device.
As if the first of the month wasn’t busy enough in October, the Sony Ericsson Urishi ST18a is also scheduled to launch on that date.The device is a slim Gingerbread Android handset sure to make Candian consumers happy. Finally, the entry-level Samsung Cooper or otherwise known as the Galaxy Ace will launch on or around October 15th.
As the United States usually follows closely behind Canada device launches, we expect to see these handsets soon after their outlined launch dates here in the states.
