Verizon 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet Available For Pre-Order
Pre-orders are now available for Verizon’s LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the tab are available in either black or white. Prices start at $630 for the 16GB and $730 for the 32GB without a contract. Signing up for a two year data contract will reduce the corresponding prices by $100. Verizon estimates the shipping time frame to be four to six weeks.
The LTE tab is almost identical to the Wi-Fi device with the exclusion of the cellular access which Verizon estimates at 5-12Mbps downstream and 2-5Mbps upstream in real-world conditions. The Android enabled LTE tab also sports a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a three megapixel rear camera, and a two megapixel front facing camera.
