Verizon OTA Update Promises Enhanced Data for LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1
Many Verizon subscribers with the LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1 device have had to suffer through bouts of unstable 4G since the tablet’s release, but the carrier now aims to cure this with a new over the air (OTA) update in the pipeline.
The update promises ‘enhanced data’, which is hopefully code for a solution to the unpredicatable 4G spells users have been complaining about. Additional update highlights include data roaming alerts and making the tablet recognizable to your Mac.
Unfortunately, no TouchWiz or Android Honeycomb upgrade action will be a part of this particular update. We’ll continue to keep our fingers crossed that those upgrades are just beyond the horizon.
