Verizon to Update the Samsung Galaxy Stellar with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean This Week
The Samsung Galaxy Stellar, a mid range smartphone that has mostly flown under the radar, just got significantly cooler as it will receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update from Verizon within the next week or so. Android 4.1 will certainly spice up the device with features like Google Now, improved notifications, and Project Butter. It goes without saying that every other device still running on Ice Cream Sandwich :: cough Droid Razr owners:: are pretty annoyed that the update is hitting the Stellar first.
Alongside news of the Jelly Bean update, the Stellar will now support 64GB microSD cards going forward and allow Verizon to access your device via their Remote Diagnostics tool. The 403.6MB update also brings forth with it a slew up minor changes that are sure to make users very happy.
