Verizon’s Field Testers Challenge Contest With $35,000 In Cash Prizes

In 2010 Verizon launched their 4G LTE network and has been working on unique ways to test their network ever since. If you are a Verizon customer who thinks you can come up with your own wacky way of testing Big Red’s notorious 4G LTE network, then this may be the perfect time to show off your creativity and possibly win some cold hard cash.

Verizon is currently hosting their Field Testers Challenge with $35,000 in cash prizes for 60-second videos that show the wildest ways to test the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. Verizon is searching for real people to document real-world tests that demonstrate the 4G LTE network capabilities. Videos are to showcase the speed, latency and/or coverage of Verizon’s 4G LTE network in a wacky, clever, and fun way.

Not a filmmaker? You can still win a $500 random drawing for a Sharing Prize to reward people for sharing videos or news about the Field Testers Challenge.

The deadline to upload videos in Verizon’s Field Testers Challenge is August 20, 2011.
