Walmart offering Samsung Conquer 4G on preorder; price – free
We have seen retailers cutting down the price of a device gradually after its release, but the recently announced Conquer 4G seems to have a soft spot from Walmart even before its release. The device is now up for preorder and preordering customers will get the phone completely free, if they are ready to sign a two-year contract with Sprint.
The deal is an absolute steal, especially so for a 4G-capable device as the Conquer 4G which will also give the buyer a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and a 1GHz CPU to run Gingerbread OS. The device features a 3.2-megapixel camera, which is a tad lower the current mid-range standard of 5 megapixels, but Samsung seems to have compensated that shortfall with a 1.3MP lens slapped on the front of the device for video communication of any sort.
Head over to Walmart right now before they change their mind. Or just wait until Sprint releases it on August 21st and get ready to pony up $99.
