Windows Phone 101: How to Enable Kids’ Corner Mode (Video)

Need something to quell your kid’s temper tantrum? Maybe you think of the phone as a neat way to divert their attention, but you are quickly hesitant as you don’t want the kid to start emailing your boss with random letters and explicitives. Well, kid’s corner on Windows Phone 8 allows you to setup a new profile for your children on your device that only allows them access to apps, games, and music that you sanction for them to use. Here’s how to setup kid’s corner on Windows Phone 8.

I. Setup Kid’s Corner

1. Click on Settings.

2. Tap on Kid’s Corner.

3. Select the apps, games, music, etc. you want to allow your kid to use.

4. Hit Next.

5. Setup a Password to get into your normal phone mode.

6. Hit Finish.

II. Access Kid’s Corner

1. Swipe across on the lock screen to see the kid’s corner screen.

2. Swipe up to unlock kid’s corner.
