Wirefly drops the price on Verizon Thunderbolt to $59.99
Wirefly is known to offer great deals and after the recent Nexus S and Sensation 4G price cuts, the online retailer has now reduced the price of HTC Thunderbolt from $100 recently to a more tempting $60. The caveats of a two-year contract and signing up for a data plan will still apply, which starts at $30 per month for a 2GB transfer cap.
For $60, buying customers will get a 4G-capable handset running on a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and 768MB of RAM, an 8MP camera capable of 720p videos, and an expansive 4.3-inch touchscreen display. The device is still stuck on Froyo but that could change in the near future when Verizon/HTC announce the Gingerbread update for it.
