YouTube Android app gets updated, enables playlist editing
Apart from the minor bug fixes that an update usually comes with, Google has added in a new feature that we are surprised wasn’t missed already – playlist editing. This may not mean a huge improvement for many, but those relying on YouTube for their regular video needs with a playlist online will find this feature a lot more appeasing. The app, which will now stand at version 2.2.14, also continues playing videos even when the device is on standby, which is great if you just want to listen to something on the go instead of watching the video. Included also is the ability to add a description, title and set privacy to the videos you will be uploading directly to the video service.
Head over to the web-based Market or visit it on your device to install the update, as it will not update automatically even if it is set to do so.
