Microsoft and Nokia Team Up to Give Out 25K Windows Phones to Developers

During the current Nokia World conference going on now in London, Microsoft and Nokia have announced a new program aimed directly at developers. The two companies have joined forces with the shared goal of enticing developers to write apps specifically for Windows Phone handsets. Starting today, the companies hope to give out 25K Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone devices to developers. Ultimately, the two companies hope to widen the Windows Phone consumer base by having a broader app base for consumers to choose from.
