Leak: Ice-Cream Sandwich 4.0.1 official ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S2
This has become a habit from Sammy, since just about every major update for just about every one of its flagship devices find their way on to the interwebs before the South Korean manufacturer releases it officially. The latest in these (un)fortunate lineup is the official ICS ROM for its current flagship phone, the Galaxy S2. The ROM is available for download now thanks to samfirmware.com and it’s here if you want to skip straight to it.
The version for this early build is XXKP1, confirmed to be Android version 4.0.1, as you can see from the video above. As you can also see from the video above, Sammy seems to have managed to mess up that sweet Ice-Cream Sandwich home screen with its own coating of TouchWiz UI. Not sure if that’s a wise decision but you be the judge of that once you done flashing!
