Um, I rebooted and My faceniff app still said that I didn’t have root permission…. And in apps, the “super user” app was not there.

    — Intall /sdcard …

    Finding update package…

    Opening update package…

    Verifying update package…

    E:signature verification failed

    Installation aborted.

This is what it said, when I attempted to root again.

Does anyone know if this will work with the Prism U8651V?

Is there a need to unlock the bootloader before rooting? This procedure doesn’t talk about bootloader unlocking.

  6. Dominique says:

It didn’t work for me. I’ve tried many different methods and it never works. I guess I need to come to the conclusion that I have a pretty crappy phone and I should upgrade immediately.
