How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
Got a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 device and wish to root it? Probably to get root-only apps running on it? No problem, this guide should help you do that. Rooting’s been proven to be beneficial to a lot of Android users, as it lets users tweak their device the way they want to without any kind of restrictions. If you’re one of the users who wants to get the best out of their device, the guide below is all you need:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. CF-Root (Download the appropriate file from the third post)
2. Odin
III. Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0:
1. Download and place both the files onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from both the archives over to your Desktop.
3. Double-click on the Odin executable file and it’ll open.
4. Click on PDA and select the CF-Root file you extracted earlier from the archive.
5. Make sure to uncheck the Repartition box if it’s already checked.
6. You can checkmark the boxes that say Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
7. Turn OFF your device.
8. Turn it back on by holding down Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.
9. Press the Volume UP button to continue to Download mode.
10. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
11. Hit Start in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the CF-Root file on your device.
12. Once the root file has been flashed, your device should automatically reboot.
13. You’re all done!
