LG G Flex vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Performance Test (Video)

If you’re in the market for a large phone (can we even call it that at this size? what’s the criteria for a phone versus tablet anyway?), then you’ve probably checked out one of these two contenders recently; the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the LG G Flex. Both have very similar specs and very different software/hardware designs and are at the top of their class. I was curious about their performance though. With such similar hardware specs, we’d assume they were pretty neck and neck, but wanted to prove that. In our testing, we did real world tests of opening apps to simulate how the device would react to us using it on a daily basis (and the speed of apps is a pretty clear and in your face way of noticing performance). Here’s the results:

What do you guys think? Would you get the Galaxy Note 3 or the LG G Flex?

  1. As I have the LG G Flex, I’m probably biased to say this one is awesome! I’ve had it for a few weeks, and I haven’t encountered one problem. While looking to upgrade I was orginally looking at the Note 3 but the price was at least $100 cheaper (Sprint) and the extra battery life sold me. The curved screen just seems more natural in my small hands than the Note 3, and I couldn’t pass up the ‘healing’ aspect of the phone.
