Nexus 7 Tablet: Everything You Need to Know
So after the leaked information we finally have a lot of the details confirmed thanks to Google’s I/O keynote today. So without further ado, here’s what’s confirmed and what isn’t for the new Nexus 7 tablet.
Specs:
- 7″ 1280×800 resolution display
- Tegra 3 quad-core CPU with a 12-core GPU
- 1GB of RAM
- Front facing camera for video chat
- Wifi, Bluetooth and NFC
- 9 hours of video playback (4325 mAh battery)
- Weighs a little over half the weight of the iPad 3 (340 grams vs 650 grams)
- No rear camera (booooo)
- Chrome browser for Android is default browser
- $199 for the 8GB version and $249 for the 16GB version!
- Comes with a $25 credit to buy things in the Google Play store.
Ordering begins now on the Google Play store and will ship mid-July. Already ordered mine. I mean $199 for a sick little tablet running pure Android Jellybean, can’t beat that, right? Anyone else doing it now?
heard that it does not support the usb host.
can it be enabled by a developers.
