How to Unroot the LG DoublePlay

Want to unroot your LG DoublePlay as you’re going to sell it off? No problem, we’ll help you do that. It’s a good idea to unroot your device before selling it, as it restores the warranty of the device which may help you get some decent price. An unrooted device is safe from any accidental modifications to system files which sometimes leads to brick of the device. So, if you’re ready, then jump onto the guide below and get your LG DoublePlay unrooted.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you rooted your device using any other method, this procedure may not work for you.

2. You must have LG DoublePlay drivers installed on your PC.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. SuperOneClick (Download the 2.3.3 version of the app)

III. Unrooting the LG DoublePlay:

1. Place the SuperOneClick archive onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive to your Desktop.

3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.

4. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Double-click on the SuperOneClick executable file and it’ll launch.

6. Click Unroot button in the app and it’ll unroot your device.

7. And you should be unrooted now!

Awesome! Your DoublePlay’s been successfully unrooted and is back to its factory state. The root-only apps won’t work any longer, therefore we suggest you to remove them from your device.
