BestMe Selfie Camera
If you love taking selfies and want a better camera to show off your better side, BestMe Selfie Camera is made for you. Selfie features aside, it’s actually a pretty decent cam on its own, but comes packed with features that turn taking a selfie into an art form. 125 real-time filters, blur effects, emojis, vignettes and selfie stick support will make everybody wonder just how you got your selfie photo to look so good. BestMe’s development crew are also promising Android Wear support and real-time video filters in the near future.
Camera Zoom FX
Camera Zoom FX offers an outstanding user interface that lets you dive into the action immediately. The latest version features full manual DSLR controls together with impressive settings like time, time lapse, stable shots and burst mode, each of which are configurable down to the last detail. If you are fed up with features that you don’t use cluttering up your user interface, Camera Zoom FX offers a unique UI builder that lets you display only the buttons you access the most or need access to quickly. That means no more clicking or scrolling through options frantically to find the one you want.
A Better Camera
A Better Camera does exactly what its name suggests and replaces the default Android camera with a better one. In this app you’ll find a number of interesting features, including the best shot function. This feature allows you to snap away at your subject with wild abandon before selecting and presenting you with the best shot in the selection. It’s a simple concept, but it can save you scrolling through and scrutinizing each snap in detail yourself.
Another unique feature of A Better Camera is that it gives you the ability to edit your videos immediately after they have been taken. This is a feature that is lacking in apps from Samsung, Sony and other manufacturers. You can also record video with live HDR, another feature absent from many other high-profile camera apps.
The slide-out grid gesture feature is also worth a mention as it is very easy to call up, and can help you to take better photos when engaged.

The article was interesting. I didn’t know the features of several of these apps. Great info presented. I would like to know the size of the apps, since apps can tend to take up lots of valuable ‘space’ on smartphones.
Also, another great camera app that was not mentioned is the VSCO camera app. I think the author should investigate this one, also. It’s definitely quite powerful and feature-packed. Worth looking into, in my opinion.
