How to Unroot the Alcatel One Touch 995

People usually unroot their devices when they want their lost warranty back as they’re gonna visit the service center. If this is the case with you and you want to unroot your device, then this guide’s going to help you with that. Unrooting the Alcatel One Touch 995 is as easy as it was to root it, here’s how:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.

2. This works on Windows based PCs only.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. SuperOneClick (Download link’s given in the post #79)

III. Unrooting the Alcatel One Touch 995:

1. Put the SuperOneClick archive onto your Desktop.

2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.

3. Enable the USB debugging function on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.

4. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

5. Run the SuperOneClick app by double-clicking on its executable file.

6. Hit the Unroot button and it’ll unroot your device.

7. You’re done!

Great! Your device has been unrooted and the Superuser app no longer exists in your App Drawer!
