How to Unroot the Pantech Crossover
Unrooting will help you if you’re going to return your device or selling it to someone. It restores the warranty of your device and hence there’ll be no unexpected questions from the other side. Here’s how you can unroot your Pantech Crossover device:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. GingerBreak APK (It’s attached in the second post)
III. Unrooting the Pantech Crossover:
1. Place the GingerBreak APK on your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the APK over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Head over to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development on your device and enable the USB debugging option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Unroot button in the app and it’ll start unrooting your device.
9. Reboot your device once it’s been unrooted.
10. You’re done!
Brilliant! Your Pantech Crossover has been successfully unrooted and is in warranty period once again!
