Samsung readying flagship Android phone for early 2011

After the Nexus S, we would expect nothing short of spectacular when it comes to a flagship device from Samsung, and sure enough, a tipster has provided Engadget with a slide that shows an upcoming behemoth of a device with specs that should leave any decent Android-loving soul’s mouth watering for days.  The as yet unnamed smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel autofocus shooter with LED flash and full HD 1080p recording capability, 14.4Mbps/5.76Mbps HSDPA/HSUPA network speed support, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1.2GHz processor of some kind, GPS, DLNA support, 16GB of internal memory and WiFi b/g/n.  The display will be an sAMOLED2 4.5 or 4.3 incher, which sounds a lot better than Samsung’s current brew of AMOLED and Super AMOLED screens.  Also onboard will be Android 2.3 operating system, which would make this the second Gingerbread phone from Samsung as of now besides the Nexus S.

The slide seems to be the part of a hastily prepared presentation, considering the typos (DNLA?) and the inconsistencies (4.3 inch vs 4.5 inch display), but putting these away for a moment, let’s just soak in the specs before Sammy retracts and says there’s no such thing, right?
