6 Best Camera Apps for Android You Need to Try
Whether you’re snapping candid photos of the kids or capturing panoramas from your trip of a lifetime, having a good camera at hand will ensure you get the best results. For many of us, that camera exists on our mobile phones. Convenient and easy to use, the camera on your phone lets you take decent photos thanks to the latest advances in smartphone technology.
What you might not know is that you don’t have to limit yourself to the default camera software that comes on your Android phone. There are a number of alternative camera apps that give you a range of features, including camera blur, photo spheres, panoramic shots and animation settings. And that’s all in addition to the basic camera options you already have on your default camera app. In this article, we’ll take a look at six of the best alternative camera apps available for Android and help you choose the right one to suit your needs.
Camera360 Ultimate
Camera360 Ultimate is one of the leading camera apps for Android on the market today, and offers a wealth of professional photography elements. Camera360 Ultimate is fast to access and load, too, which is perfect when your subject could stop what they are doing at any time, the light is fading or you simply need to snap action multiple times and quickly.
This is a serious camera app that has a fun side, too. You’ll find lots of exciting features alongside the professional elements, including a selfie cam, a color-shift cam and many more to take your photos to a new level.
Camera FV-5

ISO, shutter speed, white balance, exposure and a range of sophisticated features ensures you can get your settings just right before snapping your subject. You’ll also have the choice of nine crop guides, 10 composition grids and support for RAW image export, too.

This beautifully simple and intuitive camera app offers a range of adjustable effects, live preview and some of the best black and white photography you could ever shoot using your smartphone. Swapping filters is as easy as swiping the screen, and you can also adjust the filter intensity in the same way. Want to add interest and unique elements to your photos in post-production? The article was interesting. I didn’t know the features of several of these apps. Great info presented. I would like to know the size of the apps, since apps can tend to take up lots of valuable ‘space’ on smartphones.
Also, another great camera app that was not mentioned is the VSCO camera app. I think the author should investigate this one, also. It’s definitely quite powerful and feature-packed. Worth looking into, in my opinion.
