Angry Birds get real in T-Mobile’s ad campaign
If asked about the one thing that could be called as pervasive across all major platforms right now, we would say Angry Birds, and I am sure many of our readers will agree with this statement. The irate flightless birds are currently trying to rescue their eggs on the iOS, Android, Symbian^3, and the WebOS operating systems – heck, the game is so popular that it is even available on the Google Chrome browser, and getting ready to invade the consoles very soon.
Nokia has already used the game to promote its Ovi Store and it’s time now for T-Mobile to capitalize on its popularity but with a change – a huge change. The carrier has brought the game to life by hooking up a big TV to a smartphone where the game can be controlled, showing off whatever is being done on the device. Once the slingshot is let go, the birds literally dive out of the screen to charge at those green pigs in real life. Take a look at the video above to see for yourself.
