How To Take Screenshots on the T-Mobile G2X
There may come a time where you might want to take screenshots of your Android device’s current screen. Whether it’s to show off an app (your own app even), show a funny text in context, or any other number of reasons, it can sometimes come in handy. Well, normally you’d have to setup the SDK and take screenshots with it, but LG took a cue from the Apple iPhone and decided to add this feature into the handset itself. Curious how? Let’s show you, it’s actually quite simple.
I. Take a Screenshot
1. Set the phone on any screen you would like to capture. 2. Once you have the screen you want, simply hold down the Home and Power buttons until you hear it click (like a shutter sound).
II. To Get the Screenshot
1. To look at the screenshot, you can either download Astro file manager (or any other file manager) and navigate to the sdcard then under the folder CapturedImages. Or you can click on the Gallery and they should show up under the album titled CapturedImages (keep in mind you may have to reboot the phone to get it to show up in the Gallery app sometimes).
