Google Play Experiences High Volume Traffic For Nexus 4, Not Sold Out- Just Keep Trying
The Nexus 4 sold out in record time during its original launch, which left numerous wannabe owners feeling rather unsatisfied and waiting for it to go on sale again. Google re-launched the device yesterday only to experience a “high volume of traffic” on Google Play leaving consumers, once again, stuck with an empty shopping cart. A yellow bar appeared on the top of the device page stating:
Google Play is currently experiencing very high traffic. Nexus 4 is not sold out and will still be available for purchase. Please try again shortly. Thank you for your patience.
So, if you tried to get your Nexus 4 yesterday and got the above message don’t give up- just keep trying. Some users have had success by using the ‘tab trick’, which we’ve included for you below.
Press tab until the grey precede button is highlighted, then hold down enter until the wallet page comes up and proceed with the check out process.
