Say goodbye to that basket of remote controls always eating up your batteries because Apple’s forthcoming ‘Home’ app is set to make your smart home aspirations a reality. By functioning as the command center for an emerging internet of things (IoT), users will conceivably be able to open garage doors, control their thermostat, or hydrate their pizza to level 4. Home is also expected to integrate with Siri. Human companionship be damned: who wouldn’t wanna talk to their appliances?!

A relief to those font savvy folks out there: Apple is likely to change the default font in iOS 9 from difficult to read, Helvetica Neue, to the new Apple Watch proprietary font, San Francisco. Apple designed this new font with legibility in mind. Thanks for saving us the strain, fellas! It’s a challenge for developers to alter the system wide font, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see this shift enacted.

What other changes are you hoping to see in iOS9?
