AT&T also took the time to officially announce their plans for 4G. (Before everyone freaks out about 4G in the comments, read this). AT&T says they plan to have an HSPA+ network (same as T-Mobile’s) up and running in 2011 and have a LTE network (same as Verizon’s) up and running during the second half of 2011.

Now, there are also tablets in tow as well. AT&T says they will have HSPA+ and LTE tablets coming this year to go with their new network upgrades. One of which will be a Motorola 10.1 ” NVIDIA Tegra 2 tablet running on Android Honeycomb. There will also be another tablet supporting LTE that will come later, but no details on that one yet. AT&T says that they will have 5 to 7 HSPA+ devices by the end of the first half of the year and some LTE phones, tablets, and modems in the second half.
