Barnes & Noble is now speculated to launch the successor to its Nook Color Android tablet on November 7th. According to sources at The Digital Reader, the company is already prepping an entire new “Nook” department inside its retail stores. The “Nook” department will convienently house LED TVs and point-of-sale systems for shoppers interested in buying the new eReader on the spot.
Official specs still remain unknown for the new Nook Color, but we’re willing to bet the device will come equipped with Android, and will most likely look similar in design to the original 7-inch Nook Color. Let’s just hope Barnes & Noble reduces the price tag to stay in line with the already successful Amazon Kindle Fire, priced at $199.
