It’s all about cloud storage these days, and Box.net plans to stand out by offering an impressive 50GB of cloud storage to all Sony Ericsson Xperia and LG Android handset owners. Reportedly, the company’s plan leaked out ahead of schedule with their official blog stating that they were “working to provide this offer very soon to all Xperia customers.” Not to be left out of the promotion, LG did release an official statement regarding the same Box for Android promotion for their Android users.

According to LG, anyone who opens up a Box.net account from their LG handset starting November 30th, 2011- March 31st, 2012 will receive 50GB of free storage for the lifetime of the account.
