How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Besides ClockworkMod Recovery, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 users now have another cool custom recovery called TWRP Recovery. It’s a full touch-based recovery and is equipped with some of the useful and essential features that you may need to troubleshoot errors or to customize your device. Getting the recovery installed isn’t a big deal and this guide shows exactly how you can get TWRP Recovery up and running on your device in no time. So, let’s head onto it:
I. Before You Begin:
1. Your device must be rooted, you can check out our root guide to root your device.
2. Your device should have at least 60% of battery life left for an uninterrupted process.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. GooManager — QR Code (Google Play Link)
III. Installing TWRP Recovery on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1:
1. Start off by downloading and installing the GooManager app on your device. the download link’s given above.
2. Once the app’s installed on your device, launch it from your App Drawer.
3. Press the Menu key and then select Install OpenRecoveryScript option.
4. Tap Yes to continue.
5. The next screen will show you the model number of your device. If it’s perfect, hit Yes.
6. The app will now automatically download and install the recovery on your device.
7. Once the recovery’s installed on your device, reboot your device.
8. And you’re all done!
Great! Your Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has successfully been equipped with TWRP to allow flashing of custom ROMs and all the goodies developed by third-party developers!

My Samsung Galaxy 10.1 would not turn on so I downloaded a number of so called “Tabroots” and held down the start button and the sound button. Now all I have is a green man and the words Downloading Do not turn off your device. Can anyone help Please.
