How to Send a Message to a Group on the Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung Galaxy S4 allows you to send a single message to all the members of a group you have on your device. It really is a convenient option and the guide below shows how you can use it.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have created at least one group on your device. See our guide on how to create a group of contacts on the Galaxy S4 to learn how to do that.
2. You must have added at least one contact to a group on your device. Check out our how to add a contact to a group on the Galaxy S4 to learn how to do that.
II. Sending a Message to a Group on the Samsung Galaxy S4:
1. Open the Contacts app on your device.
2. Head to the Groups tab.
3. Tap on any group you want to send your message to.
4. Press the Menu key (left to the home button) and tap Send message.
5. Checkmark the box that says Select all and hit Done.
6. Now type in your message and send it.
7. You’re done!
Brilliant! You’ve successfully sent a single message to all the members of the group you chose before!
Gday and thanks.
When sending group text messages and I select all and hit done to send it only allows maximum of 10 of the group and I want to send to 30
how do I do that?
Joe
same problem with me how i do that
Seems we all want to know how, but no one has an answer. Guess what, not only can’t you send to more than 10 people, you can’t reply to a message that has more than 10 members.
Unfortunately, there’s no way apparently. Samsung made the limitation for whatever reason it seems like.
I switched from an iPhone 4s to the galaxy s4 about a month ago. With my iPhone i could group text my friends and family, but with my galaxy i cannot. My friends have deleted my number and put it back into their contacts, unsaved my number as an iPhone to a mobile and when I went to the sprint store they told me to restore and restart my phone to factory settings. None of this worked and I am starting to get extremely irritated by this. What else can I do?
