HTC Incredible Caught on Video
So the HTC Desire is sexy, I agree, and we know it’s most likely going to AT&T, but what about the CDMA version we heard rumored a while ago? Well, it’s called the HTC Incredible and judging by the video posted on YouTube, it’s definitely going to Verizon and looks to be a pretty final build 🙂 (also looks like they are in a Verizon store to me, but eh who knows)
Coming soon, possibly?
Here are the specs:
1Ghz Snapdragon
256Mbs of RAM
3.7″ AMOLED Screen
Android 2.1 w/ Sense UI
WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth
And here’s the shaky vid:
So with the Nexus One (hacked with Sense UI running smoothly) on T-Mobile, the HTC Desire coming to AT&T supposedly, and the HTC Incredible coming to Verizon, we have three almost identical devices coming out (or are out in the Nexus One’s case) on 3 different carriers (and the HTC Supersonic with a slightly bigger screen and possibly WiMax for Sprint). So we actually get to choose what carrier we want based on their performance in our area, instead of being forced to choose a carrier because we want a specific phone? Wow, what a concept…
Hey, I value you guys opinion a lot any word why t-mobile usa is not getting any of those awsome phones? I’m like dang.. android is moving on up and we are stuck with g1/mytouch 3g.
Why do complete tools get the opportunity to see and video tape these devices first?
Gdigenis,
Ha ya the shaking and his comments aren’t of the greatest quality to say the least…
Um, last time I checked, the Nexus was available for t-mobile.
@surviven6802
Um… T-mobile does have the Nexus One Already. You’re not stuck with anything…
Yeah, it kind of sucks. Verizon got/getting some real nice phones. I love the sense interface, it’s hot
what makes you think this was taken in a verizon store?
should i wait for this or get the nexus 1??
Mike,
I’d just get the Nexus One personally and load Sense UI on it. This way when Android updates come out you get them first (instead of having to wait for Verizon to release them months later. But I’d also check out the price too when they come out and see what the difference is.
i have a question i have a verizon droid and the signal strength keeps going up and down they gave a a new one today but then had to exchange it again and give me another new one today did anyone else have this problem with the droid phone
mike, you’d have to root your phone to get sense ui on the N1…. which means messing with your phone. If you are techno-savvy then it’s not an issue, but if you aren’t, you are risking bricking your phone and voiding warranties, etc. If you prefer to have sense ui, go with the incredible. If you like stock android, go with the N1. Also need to wait and see what kind of support will be available for the N1 from VZ. If any…. that could also be a factor.
also, there are some indications that the incredible is going to be released on or about the same date as the N1 (march 23 is the rumored release date). nothing official, but signs pointing that way. go to android forums if you want to see more…
