NTT DoCoMo reveals the Samsung Galaxy Nexus ahead of the official event
Japan-based telecom provider, NTT DoCoMo couldn’t wait another few hours until the ICS event to let the world know it will be bringing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus home to their customers. The carrier went on Twitter prematurely to state that it will be “among the fastest” to get the Galaxy Nexus and its Ice-Cream Sandwich goodness to its masses, while giving out no specific dates other than to say it will be available some time in November.
The rumors, live pics and videos have all but shattered the mystery surrounding the next Nexus star, but there’s not a peep officially from either Google or Samsung. But we will know tomorrow, when it will be revealed with all its glory in Hong Kong via a joint event held by both companies – we can only thank NTT DoCoMo for at least confirming that the device will indeed be called the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and not Nexus Prime, as was speculated earlier.
