Official pics of the mid-range LG Optimus Sol break out
LG seems to be prepping a mid-range Android phone going by the name of Optimus Sol (or the E730 Victor, if you prefer model IDs to fancy brand names) – and by mid range, we mean a device that has specs capable of running a full version of the Windows XP. The official press shots of the handset were leaked recently and a spec sheet with decent info some time before that, courtesy of BestBoyz. According to the them, the device will feature a single-core 1GHz processor, a 3.8 inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen display and a 5MP shooter slapped on the rear with a VGA gracing the front. The E730 is said to run Android 2.3 OS, but LG has added its own UI on top of it to make things a little more attractive, as you can see from the video above.
Rumors point to a price tag of €299 ($430 in local currency) and with the press photos’ leak, we should be hearing more about the device directly from LG in a short while.
