The OnePlus 5 Confirmed to Be Coming This Summer
That’s exciting, no? The successor to the super popular OnePlus 3 and 3T has been confirmed by OnePlus to the Verge. The reasoning behind the jump from 3/3T to 5 instead of 4, is apparently because 4 is considered an unlucky number in China (and it’s just a happy coincidence that this is technically OnePlus’ fifth phone, according to the article).
Regardless of the name, OnePlus has made a name for themselves for producing high-end phones at a fraction of the cost of the big name brands I’m a fan, for sure).
Unfortunately, the report doesn’t mention any specs for the new device but there’s a few leaks floating around saying it’ll have a horizontal dual camera setup, a Snapdragon 835, full HD screen, 6GBs of RAM, a 3600mah battery, and, of course, a more wallet-friendly price than other current flagships.

Anyone holding off on buying any new phones to wait to see the OnePlus 5?
