Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 visits the FCC
After being officially announced on February 13th, the Galaxy Tab 2 has now gained the FCC’s approval for sale in the USA. The device, according to the press release, is set to launch in European countries next month, but this FCC filing solidifies our belief that this 7-inch tablet will be released some time soon on the North American continent too.
The slate is pretty similar to the already released Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus with 1GB RAM, HSPA connectivity, dual cameras (3MP and VGA), aGPS, Bluetooth and WiFi – the major differences are the drop from 1.2GHz dual-core processor to 1GHz dual core and the inclusion of Ice-Cream Sandwich 4.0 as the bundled OS instead of Honeycomb.
Take a look at the video above until we get you more on this device, which is said to be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
