How to Change Your Wallpaper Automatically Everyday Using Google Wallpaper

I personally love change. Traveling to countries I’ve never been to, changing out my tech like a bad habit, I even love moving apartments (not the process, more the result). In my world, change is good.

Something similar happens with my phone and other tech. I swap launchers, icon packs, widgets (or just move my icons around on iOS if not jailbroken), etc. But today I found a way to have things change daily for me on my phone–Google’s daily wallpaper.

The wallpaper app from Google has a bunch of truly great photos turned into wallpapers in a few different categories: Art, Earth, Landscapes, Cityscapes, Life, and Textures. The real clever thing though, that I appreciate, is that you can select any of these categories and have it automatically change the wallpaper to the newest one in the category every day. Here’s how:

  1. Head to the Play Store and download Google Wallpapers.Google Wallpapers in Play Store
  2. Open Google Wallpapers.Google Wallpapers
  3. Select a category.Wallpaper Categories
  4. Then select Daily wallpaper in that category.Cityscape Wallpapers
  5. Choose whether to download it only over WiFi or if you’ll let it download over cellular data as well by unchecking the box and tap OK.Set Wallpaper
  6. It’ll set the wallpaper automatically.New Wallpaper

And now you have a nice surprise every time you wake up and use your phone.

Hope this gives you the satisfaction it does me and let me know what you think in the comments below.
