Verizon to release Samsung Galaxy Tab on Nov 11

For those of our readers waiting on a release date for the Galaxy Tab in the good ol’ US of A, we have some great news.  Verizon will be adding the popular Android tablet to its shelves next month, November 11th to be exact.  The tablet will be going for $599 (off contract with no subsidy) with a monthly $20 data plan (1GB data transfer), which might sound a bit steep but considering it hides a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, 3G/WiFi connectivity, front-facing camera for easy video calling and some Froyo goodness inside its beautifully crafted body, the price is really worth every cent.

Remember the iPad cost just a tad more at $629 and it sold like hot cakes, but will the Tab get the same taste at success?  Let’s hope so for Samsung’s sake.
