Video: LG Optimus Net P690 also heading to Italy with the Optimus Pro
While the Optimus Pro is aimed mainly at business users, the Optimus Net is looking for buyers with shallow pockets, who want a decent smartphone with an equally decent price tag. The device, which is being marketed as a successor to the affordable Optimus One, got a video to showcase its features recently. Sadly, the video is in Italian, but we do get to catch a glimpse of the P690 and from what we could understand, the device features an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display capable of 320×480 resolution, and DLNA connectivity among other usual goodies. The OS of choice is Android 2.3 with LG’s own UI layered on top.
There are no details on pricing or release available, or if the device will ever make to American shores, but you could bet on a wider release in Europe eventually.
