Visible Changes –
  • Black Menu Items (instead of White)
  • Black Status Bar (instead of White)
  • Green Icons (instead of Blue)
  • Phone dialer is black (instead of grey)
  • Voicemail button in dialer (instead of add contact button)
  • Under the contact picture in messages has been turned to dots instead of a line
  • New Keyboard
  • Better Text Selection Options
  • Download Manager is own app instead of built in to browser

  1. 2.2.1 Guess that’s problem solved since it’s supposed to be 2.3. BTW, there’s a App in the market marked Gingerbread update, and it seems to work on a lot of phones, guess my Moto 1 is getting the phase out. All I’m looking for is a black task bar without having to mod the phone to death. I love the phone and the only other use of rooting I’d use is a screen shot app.

    1. Ya, Android updates don’t come from the Market. That’s a fake. The update will come from Verizon over the air (the phone will tell you you have a firmware update, you’ll click ok and it’ll do its thing). You MIGHT get it from Verizon, but you’d have to call them and find out.
