Motorola Droid Bionic gets a $587 price tag

We are still yet to receive a concrete release date for the next Motorola flagship phone, but there is some headway in the pricing department for now, thanks to AndroidCentral.  The source received a shot of a bill from a Verizon store for the Droid Bionic which reveals the price as $587 with no carrier rebate whatsoever.  An apt price if you ask us, seeing that the device trumps most current devices with a dual-core 1GHz processor, a vast 4.3-inch touchscreen display, 4G network support and an 8MP camera.  Expect the subsidized price to be much less, most probably in the range of $200 to $300 on a two-year contract, which again sounds like a good bargain.

As for the release date, AndroidCentral pegs it as August 26th but there are a lot of other September numbers flying around, so we’ll just wait and see.
