Video: Motorola Droid Bionic shows up to show off its LTE speeds
Motorola’s next flagship phone, the Droid Bionic, has been teasing us for a long time and with summer upon us, the wait isn’t as long as it used to be now. Until then, we are committed to get you tidbits on the superphone and this latest one comes from Phandroid who were the lucky recipients of a video, showing the Droid Bionic booting up in all its dual-core glory. The tipster also ran a test to show off its LTE capabilities on Verizon via the SpeedTest app, which downloads at a respectable 4.5Mbps and uploads at 1.9Mbps, with just one bar of signal – so it could be a lot better if there was optimal network coverage.
We also get to see the revamped MotoBLUR UI on video for the first time – it definitely feels slick and much more intuitive than the previous versions, but we could be wrong and once the device is out and handled by actual users, we’ll know if Moto has taken a step in the right way or will just face the wrath of users slowed down by the infamous UI overlay.
You’ll see more on the Droid Bionic as it emerges, so keep visiting!
